Product Description

OPTIMIX ACCELERATOR & FROSTPROOFER is a concentrated liquid solution of chlorides designed to chemically react with cement within mixes to produce a faster setting mortar time.

Benefits

· Concentrated formula 1ltr is equivalent to 5ltrs of standard frostproofer.

· Easy to use gauged bottle.

· Increases setting times of mortar at low temperatures.

· Quickly disperses in the mix.

Areas For Use

· Pointing and bedding mortars

· Floor screeds

· Concrete

Limitations

· Contains Chlorides, do not use in concrete with embedded steel.

· Do not use in mixes containing high alumina cement.

· Do not use where brick ties are present.

· It is the users responsibility to determine suitability for use. If in doubt contact Technical Services Department for further advice.

Application

Shake bottle well before use. Push the lid downwards and twist anti-clockwise to remove. Squeeze the sides of the bottle to fill the measuring cup to the required dose (50ml per 1 litre of gauging water. In extremely cold situations up to 150ml per litre can be used.)

For plugging leaks mix 50% Optimix Accelerator/50% water with neat cement to form a paste.
