Plasters

• A Thistle Bonding Coat is a gypsum undercoat plaster for use on low suction backgrounds, e.g. some brickwork, blockwork or concrete, Gyproc plasterboard, expanded metal lath, or surfaces treated with bonding agents. With a final coat of Thistle Plaster Finish or Thistle Multi-Finish, Thistle Bonding Coat provides a smooth, inert, high quality surface to internal walls and ceilings, and a durable base for the application of decorative finishes.
  Thistle Bonding Coat is a lightweight, retarded hemihydrate, pre-mixed gypsum plaster, incorporating exfoliated vermiculite aggregate, requiring only the addition of clean water to prepare it for use
• Browning is an undercoat plaster for solid backgrounds of moderate suction with an adequate mechanical key..
• Thistle Hardwall is a gypsum undercoat plaster for use on most masonry. With a final coat of Thistle Multi-Finish or Thistle Plaster Finish it provides a smooth, inert, high quality surface to internal walls. The combination has superior impact resistance, earlier surface drying, a higher than normal resistance to efflorescence, and gives a durable base for the application of decorative finishes.
  Thistle Hardwall is a lightweight, retarded hemihydrate, pre-mixed gypsum plaster, incorporating special aggregates and additives, requiring only the addition of clean water to prepare it for use. It is suitable for application by hand or byplaster projection machine.
• Multi Finish is a versatile final coat plaster providing good results on all suction backgrounds, and is therefore the best choice for plastering where both undercoats and board backgrounds are involved on the same job. It is also ideal for small jobs and patching.
• Board Finish is an ideal final coat plaster for low-medium suction backgrounds such as plasterboard and Thistle Dri-Coat.
